ERIC FOLKER STANDS
DOWN AS CHAIRMAN
Eric Folker has decided to step down as
Chairman of Malmöhus CC. Eric has done a fantastic job of moving
forward the club over many years, and has the best wishes of all the
club as he now focuses on his family life.
Here is a short note from Eric.
Dear Members and Friends,
Due to lack of time to run this club as Chairman I hereby resign from
my post as today (20080126). I have had these thoughts on my mind for
quite some time now and I am a person who would like to give mainly
100% of what I do or basically do not do it all.
It is quite clear to me that my new job up in Stockholm is taking a
lot more time than I could imagine. What is really pleasing is that a
lot more members are chipping in to help the club than ever before. I
would like to thank all those who have helped me to form Malmöhus
Cricket Club to what it is today under my leadership.
We have a lot of things to be proud of:
- MHCC is very well respected
club in both Sweden and Denmark
- We have a good economy in the
club
- Two teams to be proud of
- Excellent equipment to last us
for quite some time
- A fantastic blend of people
from all parts of the world
I think the future is laid for
MHCC to take the next step without me in charge.
Yours sincerely,
Eric Folker
